Single Dad Stuff

How has everybody been? It has been a long time since I posted something. I am sorry.
Summer has been busy for me with the kids. Fun stuff, going to the lake, baseball games, hanging out at the park, etc. But it is hard to believe school is right around the corner for them to start.
I just want to wish all of you a safe remainder of the summer, and I will catch you on the next blog!

Busy weekend coming up!

This weekend is going to be somewhat busy......my daughter turns 4 on Sunday, and even though it is my weekend, her mother will get her for a little bit for her side of the family to celebrate. I am still not used to this lifestyle, but it is for my daughter. Also, I will be taking my son to his first ever professional baseball game on Sunday. We are going to watch the Detroit Tigers play. That is where I am from, a suburb out of Detroit. And depending on how well they play will act as if they are professional or not! LOL.

Anyways, I hope whoever is reading this, that you are having a wonderful summer so far!

Another GREAT day with the kids. I am so blessed that they love hanging out with dad, watching movies(it was a rainy day today), or going to the library. I swear my almost 4 year old daughter knows how to use a computer......what!?!?

Single dad stuff

As a single dad, you sometimes have to rely on friends and family for help. I have a 3 yr old girl and an 8 yr old boy, and I tell ya, without the love and support of my family and friends to help me in situations, I don't know how I would manage! I know some of you can relate on that as well.
I just have to say I am truly blessed for them all!

Happy Father's Day

I know it has been a few days, but I hope all the dad's out there had a great Father's Day! As for me, I split time with my children's mother, and I absolutely love spending time with them. I am very blessed because my children(3 yr old girl, 8 yr old boy) love being outside. Which is great! Don't get me wrong, they love their video games and tv shows, but when my son wants to go fishing, and my daughter wants to go to the park, it makes everything worth while in the situation we are all in.
